Bord Gáis Energy ReadTogetherBord Gáis Energy Book Club, Ireland’s largest online book club, is dedicated to sharing the joy of books and reading with the Irish public.    

The ReadTogether Campaign aims to promote the enjoyment and benefits of reading with children through a series of fun and engaging library events and by providing ReadTogether packs to families, bookshops and libraries throughout Ireland.

READTOGETHER EVENT 1
Marco Moves in
ReadTogether with Gerry Boland and Áine McGuinness, author and illustrator of the fabulous Marco books for children! Gerry will read from his book Marco Moves In whilst Áine illustrates the story LIVE! Children will be invited to develop their own characters and illustrate them too! Not to be missed!

READTOGETHER EVENT 2
Sally Go Round The Stars
ReadTogether with  Sarah Webb, one of Ireland’s most popular authors! Sarah will be hosting a Sally Go Round the Stars nursery rhyme session for children aged 3-5 years old, consisting of short interactive readings that both parents and children can get involved in. A nursery rhyme colouring competition will take place too. Book your places now!

READTOGETHER EVENT 3
The Bookwork who turned over a new leaf
ReadTogether with  Don Conroy, a children’s favourite! Best known to the young people of Ireland as Uncle Don from his many tv appearances and shows over the years, we’re very excited to have Don doing an exciting event based on his famous book The Bookworm Who Turned Over a New Leaf! He will bring the book to life through illustrations and a storytelling session and will also give lots of great tips to adults on reading with children.

READTOGETHER EVENT 4 
Colm and the Lazarus Key
ReadTogether with Kieran Mark Crowley, author of the Bisto Award shortlisted title Colm & the Lazarus Key and poet Adam Wyeth. Kieran will be holding an interactive reading encouraging children and their parents to get invovled in telling the story and Adam will be doing some fun poetry exercises.
